On Friday, February 19, 2027, the day before the 36th Annual Ambassadors Ball, the Diplomatic Corps of Arizona will host the Kingdom of Sweden Trade & Invest Day at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. This half-day forum brings together Swedish and Arizona business leaders, government officials, investors, universities, and the consular community to explore new partnerships in trade and investment.

This year's theme is innovation and sustainability. Sweden ranks second in the world on the Global Innovation Index and has produced more billion-dollar startups per person than almost any other country. Arizona is now the nation's leading state for semiconductor manufacturing and produces most of America's copper. Through a keynote and three industry panels, the forum will look at how the two economies can work together in mining, semiconductors, emerging technologies, sports and gaming.
